Endurance training season preparation for 2008 WEG - Malaysia Proride is an endurance training facility designed to offer international and national endurance competitors the opportunity to have horses trained and acclimatised for the 2008 World Equestrian Games - Malaysia. Far North Queensland has the same climate as Malaysia, with humid reaching 97% and temperatures up to 35 degrees in summer and all year round temperatures averaging 25 degrees. Our training facility
is ideal for national and overseas riders wishing to have their horses
prepared and competed in
the humid conditions of Far We have been instrumental in having encouraged national and international (especially UAE and Japanese riders) to the Far North Region to compete at affiliated endurance rides. These riders have further confirmed our beliefs that the terrain, climate and vast spans of courses available are ideal for the training and maintenance of the Endurance Horse and Rider. There are many reasons for identifying Far North Queensland as a suitable location for this facility. Firstly, our climate has the same humidity and high temperatures of that in UAE and Malaysia. Our mountainous terrain is ideal for developing muscle and stamina. We have unlimited riding tracks, through rainforest, mountains, soft cane fields and creek crossings. Horses are trained and competed at the Nth QLD zone affiliated endurance rides (see calendar for dates) in the Far North Queensland Australia.
