
About Us
Proride is an endurance riding facility designed to offer
international visitors the experience of endurance riding in Far
North Queensland, Australia. We offer a 10-day endurance riding
program.
The Team - Scott & Fiona Green
Scott Green has been passionate about the sport of endurance riding
since first learning of it in 1992. He has successfully completed
over 4000km of endurance rides with no vet outs. Scott has regularly
contributed to the Arabian Horse Express, Queensland Endurance
Riders Association Newsletter, Country Life Newspaper, NQ Register
Newspaper, Cairns Post, Tablelander and Toowoomba Chronicle
promoting the sport at large. Scott has also written a story for the
UAE publication "Endurance World".
Scott's achievements to date are many fittest horse awards and many
100% completion awards.
Fiona
Green commenced Endurance in June 1996 and she has successfully
completed over 5,000km. Achievements to date are:
1997

Fiona was Far Northern Zone Champion (Light Weight)

Top 10 in Australia (Light Weight Division)

Top 20 in Queensland Distance Horse.
1998
- At
the State Championship Endurance Ride, Killarney in South East
Queensland, placed 2nd in the Lightweight Division and 5th overall
out of 65 competitors. The winner of the Lightweight Division -
Shannon Parker riding Stanpark Ginnis was selected to represent
Australia the following year in the World Championships held in
Dubai, United Arabian Emirates; they were placed 10th in a field
of 150 horse and riders.
2000
- At
the National Championships the “Tom Quilty Gold Cup 2000”, Fiona
placed 10th out of 55 in the Lightweight Division and 40th out of
265 riders overall.
2002
-
Competed the 408km Pioneer Trek Marathon. 80km each day over
5 days. Lightweight Distance rider of the Year with 890km.
Lightweight pointscore & distance horse 'Duo Park Tempest' with
729km and 100% Completion and awarded a blue badge.
